My World View?
Seems to make sense, more or less.
(Though I'm not sure about 0% materialist)

I'm also a cultural creative (81%).
Interesting that we supposedly shy away from organized religion.
And "spiritual, but not religious"!
What does that mean, anyway? Recognizing your spiritual nature, but not taking any responsibility for it?
Maybe they need another category.
Here's mine: MH
Cultural Creative -88%
Idealist - 88%
Existentialist - 75%
Postmodernist - 63%
Romanticist - 50%
Modernist - 31%
Materialist - 0%
Fundamentalist - 0%
Oh great ... I did it twice -- once a fundamentalist (80%) and the next time an Idealist (75%) with a tie with fundamentaist (75%). Bizarro. I guess I must be a fundamentalist who thinks fundamentalism is a bad word -- or maybe those questions appealed to the whole idea of "ressourcement" ... the original meaning of fundamentalism ... or ... whateva :) Thanks again for the Spiritual Exercise commentary Mike.
I was highest on culturally creative (75%), then postmodern (50%) and romanticist (38%) and also a 0% materialist.
Hello, Mike, I just discovered your weblog (came over from Jimmy Akin who I love to keep tabs on...)
What a nice weblog!
Here is my score:
Cultural Creative 94%, Existentialist 50%,
Postmodern 38% etc. with the last one being fundamentalist!
Amazingly dumb survey, so I wrote them this in response:
"Oh, please. You folks are total idiots to reach such conclusions from the questions you asked. I am a proud Roman Catholic who has no problems with what it means to be spiritual, a rational thinker, a believer in the truths of Catholicism and a believer in the truths found in science.
How dare YOU not understand, what you have termed, "organized religion."
Grow up and read Socrates, Plato, Augustine and (dare I mention) Thomas Aquinas and Catherine of Siena along with Teresa of Avila and you'll see I am no different.
Oh, and BTW, I am a 40-year-old, happily married for 15 years woman with a 6-year-old son. I own my business and, thus, have time in the middle of the day to answer your silly questions!
Thanks for the diversion!"
And, now, Mike, you know a little more about me.
Again, thanks for your weblog...
(Which I would much rather post at than Jimmy Akins...)
