Darth Damon
Seems it's true. Johnny Damon has turned to the Dark Side. Yet, given one reaction of a Boston fan in today's Globe:
''He was Jesus to us," said bank employee Salma Haikal, 41, of Brockton, as she headed to lunch with a colleague. ''He was the Messiah. And he's going, actually, he's not coming."
. . . Maybe that's not such a bad thing.
Who thought this would be the answer to WWJDD? Or should the question be WWJDD for 52 million?
But, alas, this week we celebrate the real Jesus' coming, and that's a much bigger headline!

Johnny D. will probably look like a dork in the pinstripes with his impending hair-less look...still, he will be an indecently rich dork...still, the Yanks won't win...all that money messes up the karma of baseball...
even though the Cardinals management are being tight this off-season, looks like they will be in the hunt again...
once I get past the bling of the business, I love the game.
Merry Christmas from St. Louis
Yes, Johnny Damon is the Brutus of Boston! ...Along with Roger Clemens. But like Tom said, the Yankees won't win. All the money they have is useless! You can't buy a championship! The Red Sox will win once again and without J.D.! Nothing can keep the Sox down....well, except for the curse of the bambino, Bucky Dent, Bil Buchner....
