About Me
- Name: Mark Mossa, SJ
- Location: Bronx, New York, United States
What's a "hyphenated" priest? It's a priest who is also pursuing one or more other occupations. I am a student-priest, professor-priest and writer-priest. I am also a Jesuit priest, but that doesn't get a hyphen. I am currently doing all these things at Fordham University, in New York City.

Mark,
Know that you will be in my prayers as you prepare for, and on the day of, your ordination. I am sorry that I won't be able to attend. Be assured that I will pass the news on to people at St. Peter's-Columbia, SC. I would like to send you a card. Can I use the mailing address for Weston?? I'll pass it on to others who may also want to write to you.
God Bless,
Terry
Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations, Mark :-)
I wish I could be there too, for a Loyno cheering section... but alas...
Congrats Mark, know that some of us poor shmucks from Loyno are with you in spirit and prayers.
Wish I could be there too.
I will be in spirit.
My prayers for you continue my friend.
Mark,
Congratulations. The diaconate will be a better group with you in that number!!!!
Peace,
Mr. Clio
Well, I guess this is a good opportunity to "delurk" (I've been reading your blog for a couple of month now and really like it) and wish you and your brethren (is that how you say it?) all the best for your ordination. I've studied theology myself and have been blessed with being able to attend several ordinations of fellow students in the last few years. It's always a wonderful and very moving moment. You'll be in my prayers!
Best wishes from Germany,
Theresa
hey! You can post this or not, but i just wanted to stop by and tell you that Penni and I are coming up from NJ for the Ordination.
Looking forward to meeting you and your family!
Mark, I am so happy for you (and the Society of Jesus) and wish I could be there to celebrate and congratulate you in person! Know that I join you in spirit.
Thanks everybody!!
Wonderful, glorious news. Congrats and Alleluia!
I have been trying to work out what time the ordination will be in 'my time'. I think it might be something totally unsociable like 5am Sunday morning. So I can't honestly say I will be thinking of you then! But I will think of you sometime.
