Randomness
Tagged by Sr. Claire Joy, I give you six random things:
1. I can relate to Kevin Smith's Clerks, because I was once an assistant manager at a video store.
2. I have rated 1800 movies on my Netflix account.
3. I know loads of insignificant pop-culture trivia like that Happy Days was a spin-off of Love, American Style, and itself birthed a number of spinoffs including Laverne & Shirley, Joanie Loves Chachi, Mork & Mindy and Out of the Blue.
4. I'm an ENFP on the Meyers-Briggs scale.
5. I share a birthday with Gene Rodenberry, Bill Clinton, & Malcolm Forbes.
6. I can curl my tongue and make the Vulcan sign with my right hand, but not with my left (Live long and prosper!).

I'm an INFP. Although my "I" was pretty weak, and I'll bet it has gone over to the other side by now. (This was about 15 years ago.)
Mark, I recently stumbled onto your blog by Googling Weston (I begin in the fall) and just wanted to let you know how edifying and enjoyable I've found your various reflections. Thanks much! And happy Easter.
You didn't tag anyone, but I know you would have tagged me, so I'm going.
so you rated 1800 movies, but did you actually see them all ????
Bridget,
Thanks! I'll look forward to meeting you this Fall. If I can answer any questions for you or be of help with anything, please let me know.
Karen,
Consider yourself tagged. And, as you may have guessed, as regards the recent spelling question you are the one in the right!
Flo,
I only rate movies I've actually seen. So, yeah. That means I've spent approximately the equivalent of about 150 days of my life watching movies, which is probably a low estimate!
Thanks everybody for your comments!
Peace,
Mark
I'm an INTJ, people. Read 'em and weep.
AMDG,
-J.
INFP also, although in a group of "P's" I'll be the "J" and I can do that Vulcan sign with both hands... thanks for taking the tag :)
As soon as I read number 6 I automatically checked to make sure I could do the Vulcan sign with both hands. And I so can!!
Not Love, American Style. American Grafitti.
For the Record:
"Anonymous" above, is incorrect (note: if you're going to tell me I'm wrong about something, please leave your name).
IMDB has this to say about LOVE, AMERICAN STYLE:
This series had more indirect spin-offs than any other American TV series. The following series can trace their roots back to this show (most via the episode "Love and Happy Days"): "Barefoot in the Park" (1970), "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" (1972), "Happy Days" (1974), "Laverne & Shirley" (1976), "Laverne & Shirley with the Fonz" (1976), "Blansky's Beauties" (1977), "Mork & Mindy" (1978), "Out of the Blue" (1979), "Fonz and the Happy Days Gang" (1980), "Laverne and Shirley in the Army" (1981), "The Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley with the Fonz Show" (1982), "Joanie Loves Chachi" (1982) - and possibly others.
Though Ron Howard also did star in American Grafitti.
I am INFP but everyone accuses me of being an E in a crowd.
I can't help it if I like to talk, that's just being 7th of 9 kids, you had to talk out loud just to hear yourself think.
